Dr. Robert L. Burns

Dr. Robert Burns received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in June 1976 after undergraduate work at Georgia Tech. He began his optometry practice in Conyers, Georgia - February 1980. He has been a member of the American Optometric Association for over thirty years as well as a member of the AOA's Contact Lens and Sports Vision sections. He has been an active member of the Georgia Optometric Association serving as a trustee, PAC chairman, and in each office of the executive committee culminating as the association's president for 2002-2003. Dr. Burns has served as a consultant to the Georgia Tech Athletic Association and as state representative to Vision Service Plan. His civic involvement has included membership in the Rockdale chapter of the American Heart Association, member of Conyers Rotary Club and founding member of the Rockdale County Public School Foundation.

Dr. Paige B. Foster, OD

Dr. Foster joined the practice of Dr. Robert L. Burns in 1998. She received her doctor of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry and her Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University. Prior to joining Dr. Burns, Dr. Foster completed a one-year residency in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. An active member of the Georgia Optometric Association, Dr. Foster currently serves as co-chairman of the continuing education committee. In 2001, she was named Georgia Optometric Association's Young Optometrist of the year. Dr. Foster is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. She lives with her husband, Chad, in the East Metro Atlanta area and is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Conyers. Dr. Foster also serves on the board of directors for project Renewal, a community shelter for battered women.
